City Council supports Regional Regulation Draft (Raperda) related to Jakarta Water Area Public Company. Besides of efficiency, it can bring more benefit to Jakarta Provincial Government and citizen.

City Council Commission C Secretary, James Arifin Sianipar supports raperda as a legal protection to unify those two public companies management.
"The new Jakarta Water Company will be formed by merging PAM and PAL Jaya which later will bring benefit to citizen," he said, Wednesday (3/15).
City Asked to Accelerate Two Raperda RevisionsHe hoped clean water service and waste management in Jakarta will be better by forming the new Jakarta Water Company after raperda legal protection approved.
"The impact that would affect by merging clean water and waste management in one company will reduce the cost imposed on citizen," he expressed.
While PDAM Jaya President Director, Erlan Hidayat explained that it is time for clean water and waste management in Jakarta to be integrated in one management.
